| STAYK® Installation: 1. Check
for buried
utilities before using. Remove all debris (limbs, Spanish moss, tall weeds or grass,
etc.). Make positively sure the animal cannot travel around trees, bushes, poles, or
any other objects protruding from the ground.
2. Use a common hammer (2lb. recommended); install by hammering the top
of the anchor shaft/center rod until the lower reference washer is ground level. Check
that the rotation block and sleeve turn/rotate effortlessly.
3. Connect desired leash/lead to the rotation block using the supplied
u-bolt and fasteners. Do not substitute hardware.
4. Do Not leave pets or animals unattended. Make sure sufficient food
and water are placed within reach on the outer radius of animals travel to prevent tipping
of water and/or food containers.
5. Removal: To remove the STAYK®
from the
ground, simply tap/hammer on the side of the rotation block or sleeve to loosen the soil
around the anchor shaft and pull straight up on the rotation block. If the removal seems
too difficult or the individual has medical reasons why they/you should not be
performing/attempting the removal process, do not proceed. Find an individual who can
remove the STAYK®
from the ground safely.
Note: It is recommended to have a swivel located at one
or both ends of the tether. Never leave any pet or animal unattended or without food and
water. |
