FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What precautions do I need to look for when tethering my pet?
-
Clear all debris and foreign objects from the exercising or play area.
-
Do
not allow the leash or tether to be long enough to wrap around any tree, bush, pole, etc.
-
Always make sure the animal has plenty of food and water at all times.
-
Do not leave pets
or animals unattended. Check for buried cable before installing the
STAYK®.
- Do
Not tether more than one pet or animal per STAYK®.
What size chain, rope or leash do I use for my pet or animal?
Each pet and animal is different, therefore, it's best to use a tether
heavy enough the pet can feel as they play or graze. This will aid in good exercise and
help prevent the pet from getting tangled in the leash while playing. When tethering
horses or other animals, it is recommended to run the rope or chain through hose (i.e.
garden hose, etc.) for added protection.
